With over 25 years experience in the automotive industry, Darren has been with the RACT for over 18 years. An A Grade Mechanic, he commenced with the RACT working as a roadside technician. Having held a number of managerial roles in the technical area of RACT in the last 9 years, he was appointed to his current role in October 2007. Although relatively new to the best cars judging panel he has test driven cars for a number of years and contributes motoring stories and new car reviews for the RACT's Motor News Journeys magazine. Darren represents RACT on several state and national groups and is the senior technical spokesperson for the RACT. Darren's two daughters and wife often provide opinion on what is important to females when road test vehicles double as family transport which adds a balance to any evaluation. |
